Today, another thunderstorm rumbled in from the Gulf with much needed rain. Our usual summer weather pattern..intense heat during the day followed by late afternoon thunderstorms. Sometimes there is a break in the rain for a short while right at dusk, making for beautiful sunsets. This evening proved no different. I grabbed my camera and headed to the Bay. I sat on the pier in amazement as every color of the rainbow splashed across the sky. An equally gorgeous scene played out upon the ripples of the water. For the next twenty minutes, I watched and thought how blessed I am to live on the Bayou. I can walk out my front door and marvel at the greatest artist ever. One that lets us all view his creations by simply opening our eyes. Sunsets..God's paintings. Resplendent beauty!
