Whoo?

Whoo?  Who did this?  For some reason, word has gotten out that I like owls.  In the past year, more owls than I can shake a stick at, have made their way to my house.  Not that I am complaining because I really do like the critters but most of the owls in question are not the real, flying, hooting, night creatures.  These are reasonable facsimiles of the birds.  Ceramic owls, metal owls, plastic owls, fabric owls have come as gifts.  Owl candle holders, owl potholders, owl wall plaques have been bestowed upon me.  Books about owls wait to be read.  Greeting cards with owls brightened my days.  Just about every type owl imaginable has found its way to the Little Bayou House.  It is definitely a good thing I like owls.

Today, yet another owl came calling..  A black metal and brass bird was toted here by my sister-in-law.  Our aunt moved from her home and had to part with many items.  My sister-in-law saw that the owl was being discarded so she snatched up the prize and carried it to the Bayou.  "This looks like something that belongs here." she said.  Well, that made me happy!  I like owls and I love Aunt Sylvia so this owl is special to me!

Now, I have to find a special nook for the owl to call home.  Whooo?  Who let the cat out of the bag about my affinity for owls?
