Yesterday, I made mention of October's breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. It seems that whatever it takes to make an awe-inspiring bit of scenery is more abundant during the fall months. This does, however, carry over through winter but most folks would rather not brave the cold, frosty morns to see the sky afire. A toasty-warm bed in far more appealing than having your toes freeze off on an icy pier. Not me...I slip on the leather moccasins and savor the time spent alone.
For the past two mornings, the sky was not disappointing. The hues were brilliant, the cloud cover was perfect and nary a breath of wind disturbed the waters. I have been thinking this is just about as good as it gets. Folks, find the time to enjoy your surroundings instead of fretting over things you cannot control. Be happy.
